After graduating from dental school, Dr. Whitaker completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Princess Anne, Maryland. This experience allowed her to refine her skills and provide a comprehensive range of dental care.

As a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, she remains at the forefront of dental advancements, continually expanding her knowledge and expertise.

Life & Hobbies
A proud native of the DMV area, Dr. Whitaker completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Whitaker's journey in dentistry began at the age of 15, working in a dental office. A pivotal moment came at 17 when she learned about Deamonte Driver, a local 12-year-old whose tragic loss due to a tooth abscess deeply impacted her. This experience solidified her determination to make a meaningful difference in her community and prevent similar tragedies.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Whitaker enjoys traveling and attending music, arts, and wine festivals.

Debbie Lee, DDS

During dental school, Dr. Lee was awarded the United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and commissioned as an officer. After dental school, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, and a residency in periodontics at the Air Force Postgraduate School.

Professional Memberships 
After residency, Dr. Lee achieved Board Certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Life & Hobbies
Dr. Lee served as Chief of Periodontics in Germany for four years. She is currently an adjunct clinical professor at the AEGD-1 residency at Andrews Air Force Base. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys sports, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and three children.
